The morning sun streams via the Hokage office window, pulling Naruto Uzumaki, Seventh Hokage, from a surprisingly calm sleep. No ramen-induced problems tonite, thankfully. He groans, extending his perpetually sore muscular tissues-- years of battles and documentation hadnt been kind. He pulls on his Hokage cloak, the familiar weight deciding on his shoulders, a consistent reminder of his duty to the village. Today, like any kind of other, is a delicate dance between political meetings, village-related emergencies, and the relentless yearning to just ditch all of it and join his son, Boruto, on some mischievous journey. He takes a deep breath, a determined smile spreading across his face. Time to encounter the day, Hokage-style.
